"Stay out" ...one of my friend gifted me this bottle.It has that dark tones of Greens on glass and browns on the sticker.Though this composition reminds me Cezanne but these are not Oranges they are Tomatoes.Need to find some more compositions on this.

Odd one out ...I pity on apple.as i was telling in the previous post ,i used Pallette knife in the end similarly i used it in this one too in the end. It gave nice texture on capsicums and color look  bright too.

Reflections worked out well in this painting.Title looks apt for me,It took little more time working on the forks.In the final i used Painting Knife to give rough treatment to the background.Shadows look little harsh but okay for me.Getting ready for still life photo shoot next week.

From my child hood i have seen the murals of "Lepakshi" which always inspired me a lot.This Folklore and myths always excites me.They all become part of my painting.These stories fascinates and they come with  fresh imagery world that narrate the unknown relationships between images and forms.

This painting got influenced by Mandala Art like the previous one.Lotus symbolizes the Spiritual of self. you can see "Naga bandham" for Lotus.I do remember the" Bodhisattava" holding blue lotus in Ajanta murals.It gives calm and serene feel to your ambiance.

Another composition with mangoes,This time i used painting for the background blue ya it looks good.As i have been to Hampi (Karnataka) i couldn't post last week.It was fantastic trip.Visited Virupaksha temple and near by places.summer was high.

This composition has little challenges dealing with crowd but think i managed them well.Background architecture is temple architecture which is in WARANGAL (Ramappa temple),people take selfies and snaps to document their visit.Its so much fun to observe them.

Yet another composition with mangoes,cups and spoon. Gesso board is more comfortable than canvas board as surface will be soft and brush moves faster.I give at least 6 layers of coatings on the MDF board with texture white and 1 coat with acrylic Titanium white colour. Intensity of colour remain fine if we give 1 coat of acrylic white.

Baby sitter

The boy looks drowsy and sleepy early in the morning but he is trying to hold his sister. The painting on the left which was painted in golden frame makes the whole composition more interesting and it carries the mood.

I recollect one of whistlers painting “Arrangement in grey and black no 1” or the alternative title “whistler mother” because of the painting inside the painting.

Portrait of a boy wearing goggles, this particular work looks patchy with bold strokes. Yesterday got some wooden panels and need to give base coat to them. Actually I like to paint on the gessoed board, because the surface will be smooth.
